"The Pioneer Woman on Keeping it Light"

There's just something about the The Pioneer Woman and her blog that people really like. Is is her self -deprecating sense of humor, her delicious and easy to follow recipes or the tight shots of her husbands...um...jeans? Let's see what Ree thinks about that.

I also asked her about her photography, specifically about the recent photo "Road Rage" photo essay.

I was only able to post one clip today...so coming up tomorrow, Ree talks about professional blogging.

So that only took, what, three days?

Something about the size of the videos, which I don't get all cuz I broke up the interview up into bite sized chunks (wonder if that's where the word sound bite comes from) just for Blogger.

Anywho...what I've got for you tonight is two of those chunks. The cuter-than-bugs boys talking about their mama and their mama talking about blogging and bloggers. That would be us, right?

Tomorrow...God and Ron willing...I'll post Ree reflecting on why she thinks her blog is so successful.

You are being extraordinarily patient.

Patience hasn't always been my strong suit.

Fortunately, persistence is.

I have tried and tried to get the video of my Pioneer Woman interview loaded on to this blog. I have pleaded with my computer. Prayed, even as I clicked upload.

Ironically, One of the questions I asked Ree Drummond in that interview was how had she (and I was thinking of my own ineptitude here) managed to master an always changing technology.

And, you know, she was so sweet and reassuring. She said over time and with practice it will just start to seep in. And then you know what she said? She's so honest. She said she doesn't have it mastered at at. And when she can't figure something out she doesn't even worry about it. She just outsources.

And so....
...meet Ron. He is a terribly gifted photojournalist. He edited my "New Kid on the Blog" story (see previous post), for example. He's going to help me get this video loaded. He knows a lot more about computers than I do. That's because he's young. And smart. And young.

We will perservere.
