I was hanging with some mommy bloggers not too long ago when one of them, Molly, told me that Jason, a reporter and a long time blogger at a competing news station was dining at a trendy new restaurant at that moment.
How do you know that? I asked her. Did he text you?
No, she told me. She was following him on Foursquare.
OMG, I'm barely getting this Tweeting thing figured out and now you're throwing something called Foursquare at me?
Molly, being young, understands things like Foursquare intuitively. Or so it seems.
I do not. This New York Times article published today helped me. Although I'm not sure I'm ready to take on one more social media.
Besides, let's say I start broadcasting where I am every so often. And I find out no one cares.
Then what?
